Life in the Dreamhouse Booklet

Life in the Dreamhouse, pertains to the evolution of Barbie and how she contributed to Mattel’s business success. It points out her various fashions, achievements and controversial details.

To draw the eye of an older audience, I thought it important to explore the classy and sophisticated side of Barbie. To achieve this, I used the colors black and white to maintain the classy feel in addition to matching her original clothing, the white and black bathing suit. Accents of pink add the flair that Barbie brings to everything around her. The dimensions of the booklet are also the same as a standard Barbie box.

Content will be broken up into sections revolving around her various jobs titles, unique fashion, and lastly her role in pop-culture and controversial topics she has been involved in. Each section heading and the title on the cover was hand written with lipstick.
